It’s the end of the year, which is always our busiest life season! We tend to run ourselves into the ground and spend much of flu season (plus some) sick. Yes, this is life constantly live around hundreds of teenagers, but this year I’m already getting a jump start on our wellness, trying to keep my body in line!
1. Water. Water. Water. I love coming up with fancy ways to improve my overall wellness, but no fancy potions seem to do it like drinking more water. Today for instance, it’s become very clear I didn’t drink enough yesterday because I’m SO DRY. I just listened to multiple seminars (by professionals) about the benefits of water and I think I will never tire of hearing the incredible way our bodies work and how much we need to have for a simple glass (or twelve) of water!2. The second suggestion made toward overall health during these same seminars (literally following water) was probiotics! I have to tell you that probiotics and I have had a love/hate relationship through the years. I use to have a brand I trusted, but they sold to a bigger company and it’s really never been the same. I dated around, but just got left with stomachaches on my already sensitive stomach…. until I met the fermented mushroom goodness & pre-pro-post-biotics combination of Dr. Ohhira’s Original Probiotics. I’ve had less stomach issues than I have in a long while the past few months with my water + probiotic combination. I’m hopeful that I’ll make it through the holidays without a doctors visit!
