Upping Our Game: PlusCBD Supplements + Balm

I used to use Hemp lotion in high school because I had read about the benefits of the plant and thought, “Why not!?” This years Expo West was ablaze with hemp-based products, ranging from protein powder, to beauty products, and even clothing. Hemp seed oil was my main obsession before, but we recently upped our game and moved to hemp-derived CBD oil from PlusCBD, which is extracted from the same hemp plant as my lotion was, but with so many more benefits!

I was beyond skeptical of CBD, even with all the hype, mainly because I’m hearing of too people using it as an excuse to use marijuana (which is a different plant and also a terrible idea—and if you don’t believe me, ask any of the foster kids we work with!) But after hearing our friend, who is a biochemist and a pastor, speak about the spectrum of health benefits specifically from hemp-derived CBD, I knew we had to try it and see if we noticed any results.

Right before our package from PlusCBD arrived, I sunburned. Or better yet, scorched like I have never scorched before. I knew it was time to put the balm to the test and used it on my shoulders. Then I held my breath and waited for the peeling to commence… but it never happened and my skin was perfect within 3 days. I thought maybe it was a fluke, but then tried it on a spot Jude had on his ear that wouldn’t budge for months, and it was gone in a few days’ time. I’m hoping that over time the supplements will be another way for us to see improvements in our health, especially as it relates to Joel’s arthritis – I think they are all already making a huge difference!

PlusCBD has done some incredible things with their products that make them the best fit our family. They use a chemical-free extraction process and all of their production is environmentally friendly. Not to mention the 3rd party testing which is so incredible assuring when the market is full of unchecked products. PlusCBD is offering 15% off their products with the code “momsmeet17”!

I received this product for free from Moms Meet (momsmeet.com) to use and post my honest opinions. Compensation for this post was provided and this page may contain affiliate links.
